Work Scholarship

Full Scholarship – Valued at $675.00 in exchange for 15 hours of service per week for 15 weeks.

Partial Scholarship (Option A) – Valued at $450.00 in exchange for 10 hours of service per week for 15 weeks.

Partial Scholarship (Option B) – Valued at $315.00 in exchange for 7 hours of service per week for 15 weeks.

Business Grants

Monies raised by the Business Club are used to provide Business Grants for needy students of SHJC.  This assistance covers fees up to $500.00 for one semester.  The grant is a one time award and is not subject to renewal.  Students are required to pay additional fees and tuition not covered by the grant.  Monies are paid directly to the Accounts Department.

Sports Scholarship

The SHJC Sports Scholarship will reward students for meritorious academic and sports performance with financial need.  Sports Scholarships will be awarded to two students annually (1 male and 1 female) based upon a combination of merit, athletic performance and need.

Valedictorian Scholarship

This Scholarship is awarded to the first Valedictorian to apply for the Scholarship.  This Scholarship is awarded annually and is for the student’s duration of studies at SHJC.  This is a full scholarship that covers both tuition and fees for the student.

Government Of Belize Scholarship

Students who have completed at least 36 credit hours and who have a GPA of 2.5 and above are eligible for a tuition scholarship from the Government of Belize. 

6 CSEC passes including English A qualifies a student for GOB tuition scholarship upon entrance to SHJC.
