Sacred Heart Junior College – Office of Student Services Welcome to Sacred Heart College – Junior College Division!!! The purpose of Student Services here at SHJC is to ensure that you educational experience is holistic and exciting. Here at SHJC we expose our students not only to academic educational experiences but also to extracurricular activities that stimulate intellectual development. SHJC with its quality education and extracurricular activities allows students to find and foster their hidden potential and also present opportunities which fosters leadership qualities. SHJC’s Student services are conceptually divided into two areas: - Academic Support Services
- Extra-curricular Activities
Our Academic Support Services offers the assistance so that students can succeed academically. The academic support services include academic advising and counseling. The extra-curricular activities offer students the opportunity to grow in other areas of their persona that will contribute to them becoming a beacon of positivity in the Belizean society. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, student organizations, student government, educational seminars, workshops for skills development, and special activities such as ATLIB Sports and other competitions. The door of the Student Services office is always open. Students do not need an appointment to see the Assistant Dean, Student Affairs. You are welcome to walk into the office anytime. Student Services is an important part of the SHJC’s commitment to offering quality education and thus commits to assisting students in any way possible.
