Community Outreach
While expectations for the students' academic performance are high, students are also encouraged to participate in at least one extra-curricular activity. The College budgets (where possible) for activities that will entertain students as well as foster qualities such as “hard work and determination,” “team effort,” and a “willingness to succeed.”
AREAS of INTEREST
Student Council: The Student Council is an on-campus system of governance that provides the students with a voice. The student body elects the Student Council Executives. The Student Council mainly organizes fund raising events to improve student services. Students with an interest in politics and governance are encouraged to run for Student Council. They are also reminded of the responsibility and commitment to the Student Body if they choose to run.
Student Publications and Yearbook: Clubs:
Athletics:There are opportunities for lovers' of Basketball, football (soccer), Softball (Baseball), Track, and Volleyball. Students are also encouraged to support the various school teams by cheering in the sidelines at games, so for the student who is not athletic there is still opportunity for an enthusiastic member of a very large fan club!
