Belizean Literature

Course Description:

This course is designed to provide a survey of Belizean literary works (poetry, drama, prose). Students are introduced to literary elements: character development, themes, use of language, symbolism, imagery and plot development in order to capture the essence of Belize’s historical, cultural, social and political realities perceived by male and female writers.
