Biology & Chemistry

The Associates Degree in Biology and Chemistry exposes students to biological and chemical concepts and is recommended for students that are considering careers in the field of medicine, pharmacology, and the health sciences. The program equally emphasizes both biology and chemistry placing focus on cell biology, genetics, plant biology and developmental biology, human health, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and environmental chemistry. Graduates from this program will have a good foundation allowing them to easily do further studies in the field of biological sciences, earth and environmental sciences, laboratory sciences and molecular biology, or the medical sciences.
