Microeconomics

Course Description:

Microeconomics is a Year 1, Semester 1, 3-credit course that provides business and accounting students with the foundational knowledge of microeconomic principles and their applications. This course facilitates students’ analysis of the economic factors that influence decisions made by economic agents after considering resources, tradeoffs, and costs. Topics include the central economic problem, theory of demand, theory of supply, market equilibrium, the costs of production, market structure, and market failure.
