Course Description:

This course provides an in-depth experience of the sociological, economic, cultural and political History of Belize since the early settlement of the great ancient Maya civilization. Students will be immersed in discussions and presentations that will enable them to critically analyze different parts of Belize’s history and come to their own conclusions about history based on the historical evidence available today in Belize.
