Chemistry of Elements

CHEM2141 is a course designed for students majoring in chemistry and encompasses the fundamental principles that pertains to chemistry of elements. It provides students with an overview of the main properties of metallic elements of the periodic table, inorganic molecules and metal complexes.

It focuses on the structure and composition of inorganic materials in its pure state, the bonding associated with inorganic materials and the crystallographic features of inorganic molecules and their effects on its physical properties.
