Course Description:

This is an application-oriented course at the college level intended to sharpen skills and increase understanding of college algebra and trigonometric concepts through an integrated approach to technology. The topics include: equations (linear, quadratic, polynomial, logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric) and inequalities, system of equations, functions and graphs, transformations, radicals, logarithms and complex numbers; sequences and series and proofs;radian measure,  right triangle trigonometry, unit circle approach and trigonometric identities.

Both algebraic and trigonometric concepts will be reinforced with practical applications and the use of a CAS (Computer Algebra System) to perform mathematical modeling and investigate the nature of such functions.
