Course Description:
This introductory, non-calculus physics course, is geared towards students majoring in disciplines other than Physics or Mathematics such as Biology, Natural Resource Management, or IT. The course focuses mainly on classical mechanics and includes topics such as motion, vectors and forces, Newton’s Laws of motion, conservation of energy laws, and properties of matter. Critical thinking, problem solving and laboratory work are integral parts of the course.
