Organic Chemistry Lab I

CHEM2201 is a 1-credit laboratory course designed for students majoring in chemistry and incorporate experiments representative of material being covered in Organic Chemistry I.

Through a series of experiments on various functional groups, students will learn various techniques involved in an organic lab. The reactions involved will primarily focus on reactions of alkanes, alkynes, haloalkanes, hydroxyl compounds and carbonyl compounds.
