Course Description

CHEM1101 is a 4-credit course designed for students majoring in chemistry and encompasses the fundamental principles that pertains to all branches of the chemistry: Organic, Inorganic, Analytical and Biochemistry. This course builds on fundamentals chemistry principles established in Principles of Chemistry I. It provides student with a knowledge of the principles of general chemistry with an emphasis on laws and theories of chemistry; thermodynamics, electrochemistry; kinetics; and equilibrium.
