Project Design and Analysis provides an introduction to the analysis and design of computer systems, and the system development life cycle. It also discusses the details of the various phases involved in developing a new system, along with the role of the system analyst. It discusses the many steps and computer tools used for gathering information that is often required for the preliminary investigation of a project.
The course will identify the types of feasibility analysis along with certain methods to analyze the cost and benefit of a project. It will look at the design stage of a project, and then the subsequent implementation stages, and the many ways to install a system. It also discusses the post-implementation maintenance of a project.
