Course Description:

This is an elementary course in plain trigonometry. The course includes a revision of functions and investigates in detail the trigonometric functions and their properties, acute angles and right triangles, radian measure and the circular functions, graphs of the circular functions, trigonometric identities, inverse trigonometric functions, and trigonometric equations. Trigonometric concepts are reinforced with practical applications and the use of mathematical software to perform mathematical modeling and investigate the nature of trigonometric functions.
